Quilty Village is located in the West of Ireland in County Clare on the Atlantic coast.
History of Quilty
Quilty is beautifully located along the Atlantic coast of West Clare. It is an area made famous due to the wrecking of numerous Spanish ships in the area. The San Marcos was wrecked off Mutton Island and the headland above Quilty is named Spanish point in memory of the events of 1588.
