Blacklion Town is located between the Upper and Lower Lakes of Lough Mac Nean in the Midlands of Ireland in County Cavan.

Blacklion is a central location for touring the UNESCO Geopark Marble Arch Caves. The caves are one of the finest show caves in Europe.

Situated nearby is the Cavan Burren Park, a beautiful location with many geological and archaeological features.

The Shannon Pot is also nearby which is the source of the longest river in Ireland. Flowing from Cavan to Limerick.

The award-winning Mac Nean Restaurant is located in the village. The owner, Neven Maguire is one of Ireland’s best loved chefs.
